Although I have never been to the Middle East or to Central Asian countries such as Afghanistan or Pakistan I did take political science courses concerning that region of the world, which is how I stumbled across the concept of Islamic Feminism; which is an actual thing by the way. Malala is a positive example of a Muslim Feminist, and although she's stated multiple times that she forgives the Taliban members who plotted to kill her by shooting her in the head, I think there should be a parody where she's out giving human rights speeches in Pakistan and then later brings her attempted killer to justice by shooting him in the head her damn self; and goes back to being a huge international hero.
I was watching one of your episodes where you guys did a parody version of the View called the Viewpoint and I think a strongly resembled Malala look alike would pull that off, but it’s just something that ran across my mind is all. She honestly can’t even go back to her hometown anymore without risking getting shot again. It’s a lot like the Jarhead 2 movie if you’ve ever seen it.
I am a little confused by your show idea. Is this a single skit, political talk show with satire, or an entire series? Also is this to strengthen the islamic feminist movement or to poke fun at the movement? Looking forward to clarification.
I am not poking fun at the Islamic Feminist movement and I never would, but I don’t think it would hurt to see a free thinking woman from that region of the world to physically fight back for once. Now that’s what I want to see....no more of this “I’m going to take the high road and kill them with kindness kinda stuff,” because throwing acid, female circumcision, and keeping an education from women and girls over there is still a problem. The main character of the skit could say things like how the Holy Koran was written and rewritten multiple times, the original interpretation said 72 raisins and not 72 virgins, the prophet’s first wife was older than him and she had a job working as an international trader and he worked for her, and the Holy Koran does say that a man will go to hell for killing women and children; but she should still shoot a Taliban member in the fucking head though. I’m pretty sure it can all be captioned in a single skit. It was just a thought is all....if it’s too complicated then don’t worry about it. I was just thinking out loud.
Thanks for the response, I am not educated much in the Islamic religion seems like you are! The only thing I can relate to is the shooting in the head, OOHRAAHH!! I agree that if written correctly and informatively a skit like this would be entertaining, educational, and possible supportive of improving Islamic states. Although I do not see how this relates to Veterans struggle with mental disorders and suicide which seems to be the focus of content at the time. With that said I agree with Chate on the relevance on this site. If you would like to discuss this further with me I would be interested in assisting you with creating and getting the message out there! Maybe on Youtube or something.
