Sorry about the name just wanted to put something. Reading some earlier forums one in particular titled "Veteran News" by jason.ward0916 there has been some discussion on a news program centered on Veterans that can bring a crude light to the current affairs. My idea is to take a character like Sgt. Savage and throw him into freshman year at some university where he is surrounded by 18-20 year olds pushing some agenda that he can turn into a hilarious encounter. I am sure the team at VET Tv can pull this material off and I like many other military members going back to school with the GI Bill would be able to relate.
GI Bill Bandits
Love this idea, Sgt. Savage would have a blast with them young adults.
Yup, can tottally relate, i schooled a fair share of fat, blue haired, sjw's in college
Great idea Ross!
I went trying to use the G.I. Bill, for awhile, I felt like fucking Billy Madison, going to class with care bears, with Barney teaching the lesson plans. Turns out college is now where you go to develop feelings and get in touch with your spirit animals vagina.
Thanks Chate and Braden!
cjohansen1992,
I find it best to keep my mouth shut and keep trekking then to get into debates although what runs through my head is humorous to myself and possible others here! I have had already been told that if I continue saying the comments I do that I will be removed from certain activities! I value my education over the skewed opinions of others at this time!
Gleen,
It is crazy how much different they look at someone only 4-8 years older than them. Its like they think you are an old man/woman! Sometimes I take advantage of this and say some very biased opinions to make them reconsider what they think is real. Just today one of my classmates, who had spent the previous day with visiting parents, told me that his Dad said that what I was saying was wrong and he trusts his Dad. I would think he would be able to form his own opinions against a peer I am only 24! I am glad he seeks advice from his father though he is a smart guy.
Put SGT Savage in a Women’s Studies class.
