I'm having a subscription issue so I sent e-mail to [email protected]. I've sent the e-mail twice. It bounces with the message "Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours" which means that the e-mail server at VETV is not responding. Something is broken with e-mail at VETV.
[email protected] Not Working
Hey R,
I sent a test email through and I cannot recreate the problem you're experiencing.
How can I help you?
Justin
Has [email protected] received an e-mail with the subject "Reactivate subscription issues"?
I have an account on the system. I want to
reactivate my subscription. I updated the credit card. When I go to
Billing & Subscription => Manage Subscription (Your subscription has
expired. Expired on 2/11/22) => Subscribe => Choose Plan => Continue.
At this point it wants me to Create an Account or Sign In. I choose
Sign In since I already have an account and I get "You are now signed
in." but then the subscription menu goes away. If I choose Create an
Account, it tells me that for my (correct) e-mail "You must enter a
valid email address". I'm stuck.
How do I reactivate my subscription but keep my current account?
I may need to wait until Monday to get a technical answer but what is your email address? I don't see an email with exact subject line but I am sure there is something I can do to get you access right now.
E-mail is [email protected].
Thanks Justin
Hey R, sorry for all the hassle. I just reached out via email, please check your inbox whenever you get a chance and we can move forward with restarting your account.
Ben,
Your e-mail makes me uncomfortable. The e-mail address is not from a veterantv.tv domain. It sends me to a billing system that appears to be outside of veterantv.tv, I already updated my credit card info on veterantv.tv. Why would you not be able to take the CC info from there and reset the account?
There is no way I'm going to post personal or CC info to a site I cannot verify. If the e-mail is legiti and is from Veteran TV, I really do appreciate your help, but you need to fix your billing system so I can use it on your site.
Hey R,
I won't ask you to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, and it's always best to be overly cautious. Just like our website that ends in .com, so does our support inbox: [email protected]. We did move to a separate billing system a few months back which is the cause of this loop as it's trying to default to the previous billing system that does not exist.
Given your concerns, I'd recommend just going to our website, clicking that subscribe button and walking through those steps to recreate your account.
No, the From address on the e-mail does not end in "veterantv.com". The From address is "[email protected]". (Hover the mouse over the "[email protected]" to see the real e-mail address or right click on "[email protected]", copy e-mail address, and paste into Word.)
I did try clicking the Subscribe button and walking through the steps to recreate the account. When I get to the "Create account and Continue" page, I click the button, it works on it for a few seconds, and then it tells me "You must enter a valid email address". I think this is because my email address is already in use for MY account and it thinks I'm trying to overwrite the account.
If I click "Already have an account? Sign in" on that same page, the billing pages going away and I get a message "You are now signed in. Start Watching" but I still don't have access to anything.
Would it be possible for you to go into the old billing system and copy my CC and other data over to the new billing system on your side?
Hey R, thank you for that context. We do use a CRM system to reply, which is why you see an wpenginepowered address, however you can always email our direct support team at: [email protected]
The system we use to confirm if an email is valid during signup does not recognize @swcp.com, so you would need to use a different email address to sign up. Your previous account would not not effect your ability to sign up. I'm sorry for the hassle you've gone through however once you create your account we could then manually change your email address if you prefer to use your swcp inbox.
Okay. I understand. I signed up with a different e-mail and that worked. If you could set it back to babaylon@swcp,com, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your help on this Ben, BTW.
