When it comes to the degenerates that are currently in, they are fans of VetTV. I'd argue most of VetTV's audience is your OIF/OEF Veterans.
How does VetTV get the word out? You need to break this down by audience and really understand why they aren't watching VetTV, and how VetTV can get in front of their face (which platform/medium is most conducive?)
I'd argue your Gen Z and 'young' millennials are most conducive to TikTok and short form content. Your Desert Shield/Storm old dudes and dudettes believe it or not are on YouTube (long-form) and Facebook.
Silkies Hikes are an amazing way to get the face-to-face with your audience yet, the word being pushed out for the hikes is horrible. If a Veteran isn't ACTIVELY looking for silkies hikes, they wouldn't know. That's your problem with both VetTV and the Hikes.
People need to actually search for your stuff to be found versus the opposite, your stuff presents itself to them to then make the choice.
So the question is really, how does VetTV disseminate information to their audience?...and personally I'd break down audience because that answer is different for each generation of Veterans.
