Hey guys, I want to start by saying I love your work!
Last night I watched "What is the Military Slang Dictionary." There was a point when John Acevedo mentioned that the VET TV company was looking to get into the publishing arena. I have self-published (I started a small publishing company) two children’s books on PTSD and military families (separate dad and mom versions). They are books specifically for kids whose parents struggle with combat related PTSD. I have considered for a long time pursuing republishing my books with an actual publisher. The books have been featured on NBC Nightly News, Inside Edition, Army Times, Brut Media, and many other outlets (Kastle Books link below). If possible, I would like to talk with someone about publishing through you guys. This is a completed project that has a pretty solid track record that can just be moved over to your platform. I think these books fall in line with the mission of VET TV and helping veterans. Writing this message feels super sales-y, but that’s not it – I would just like to be able to get these books into the hands of more military families. As a self-publisher I have very little platform to do so. The books are called Why Is Dad So Mad? and Why Is Mom So Mad?, you can check out their reviews on Amazon.
Thanks for all you do for the veteran community.
