Just my perspective:
It's a first world problem. You could say that SJWs are the people whose lives are so damned good that they had to come up with new reasons to be upset. The stereotypical SJW is known for shouting and making a big deal after being "triggered" by one thing or another that is by no means a life-threatening situation. Put that up against a group of people who have routinely been put in a position where the next decision they make can cost lives, often including their own.
Put in that context, is it really so difficult to understand?
